To position the Lenoir/Greene United Way to be the critical link that brings people, organizations, and resources together to build stronger, healthier communities.

MISSION

To provide local leadership and support to assist Lenoir and Greene Counties in building healthier, safer, and more caring communities. 

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

The Lenoir/Greene United Way will:

• Serve as a catalyst, in collaboration with community partners, to enhance service capacity.
• Serve as an interface connecting agencies and organizations to address local issues.
• Operate in a cost effective, accountable, and financially solvent manner as stewards of community contributions.
• Be ethical, inclusive, and culturally diverse.
• Work in collaboration with, respect, and promote, the interests of member agencies.
• Be a liaison between local agencies.
